These terms apply to your use of our website and to any consultation you book with Qian Yi Metaphysics (謙易命理). By booking a consultation or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. Nature of our services

Our consultations offer insight and perspective based on traditional Chinese metaphysics, including BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu and Feng Shui. They are meant to help you understand yourself and your circumstances, and to support your own decision-making.

We sell no objects, talismans or remedies, and we are not affiliated with any seller. Where a Feng Shui recommendation involves an item, you are free to buy it from any source you choose, or not at all.

2. Not professional advice

Our consultations do not replace professional advice. Nothing we say or write is medical, psychological, legal, financial, investment or tax advice.

• Health: we may point out periods in your chart that call for extra care with your health. This is not a diagnosis. Always consult a qualified medical professional about any health concern.
• Money and investments: we do not recommend any financial product, investment or transaction. Please consult a licensed professional before making financial decisions.
• Legal and property matters: please consult a lawyer, property agent or other qualified professional.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

Metaphysics describes tendencies and possibilities, not certainties. We do not guarantee any particular result, event or outcome from a consultation or from following any recommendation.

You remain fully responsible for your own choices and actions. Any decision you make after a consultation is your own.

4. Who we serve

• Age: consultations are for adults aged 21 and above. We do not read charts for children. As an exception, existing clients may seek guidance as parents. In these cases, our focus is on supporting the parent, and we do not predict or label the child.
• Couple readings: both partners must consent and be present.
• Business partner readings: we need the partner's birth details, but the partner does not need to attend. You confirm that you have their agreement to share their details.
• Family members: up to two immediate family members may sit in, if you are comfortable with this. Some information discussed may be sensitive.
• Gift readings: you may gift a consultation. We recommend that the recipient knows and agrees beforehand.

5. Accurate information

An accurate birth time is essential for a chart reading. If you cannot provide an accurate birth time, we may decline the reading. In that case, your deposit will be refunded in full.

Our analysis is based on the information you give us. We are not responsible for any inaccuracy caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

6. How consultations are conducted

• All chart readings are conducted in person at our office. We do not offer online readings.
• Readings are conducted mainly in Mandarin, with English alongside. An all-English explanation is available on request.
• Consultations are by appointment only.
• Audio and video recording of consultations is not permitted. You are welcome to take written notes, and your key points will be covered in your report or follow-up.

7. Bookings, deposits and payment

• A booking is confirmed only once your deposit is received.
• Deposit: S$200 for My Life Chart; 50% of the fee for Feng Shui consultations.
• Balance: payable on the day of the consultation.
• Payment method: PayNow only, to our business account.
• Fees are as quoted at the time of booking. We may change our published fees from time to time, but this will not affect bookings already confirmed.

8. Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds

• Rescheduling: you may reschedule once, free of charge, with at least 3 days' notice. Your deposit will be carried over to a new date within 3 months.
• Late changes and no-shows: if you reschedule or cancel with less than 3 days' notice, or do not attend, your deposit will be forfeited.
• Refunds: deposits are non-refundable, except in the following cases, where you will receive a full refund:
  • we need to reschedule and you are unable to accept a new date; or
  • we decline the reading because an accurate birth time is not available.

9. Feng Shui consultations

• A site visit typically takes 1 to 2 hours, depending on the surrounding environment.
• Your written report will be ready within 2 weeks of the visit.
• We provide recommendations on layout and furniture placement. We do not carry out renovation, construction or interior design work, and we do not work directly with interior designers or contractors.
• You are responsible for ensuring that any changes you make comply with building regulations, safety requirements and the rules of your management corporation or landlord.

10. Date selection

We provide date selection for moving house and business openings. We do not provide date selection for weddings or births.

11. Free online calculators

The free calculators on our website are provided for general interest only. They give a basic overview and are not a substitute for a full consultation. They are provided “as is”, without any guarantee of accuracy or availability.

12. Intellectual property

All content on our website and in our reports, including text, charts, diagrams, designs and our logo, belongs to Qian Yi Metaphysics.

Your report is for your personal use. Please do not reproduce, publish or share it commercially without our written permission.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from your use of our website, our consultations, or any decision you make based on them.

Where we are found liable, our total liability will not exceed the fees you paid for the consultation concerned.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

14. Right to decline

We may decline or end a consultation where we believe it would not be appropriate, including where the request conflicts with our principles or where a person behaves abusively. Where we decline before the consultation begins, any deposit will be refunded.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website at the time of your booking applies to that booking.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
